(Source: City of Louisville, KY) Louisville Metro Animal Services (LMAS) and the Kentucky Humane Society (KHS) are gearing up for what they expect to be Louisville's biggest pet adoption weekend on record. On October 17 and 18, the two agencies will charge no adoption fees (license fees will still apply) for all animals at their two main adoption facilities-the KHS Main Campus in south Louisville and the LMAS Animal House on Newburg Road. The celebration, which runs 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days, is part of the ASPCA's national Mega Match-a-thon presented by Subaru.
